Former member of Cirque du Soleil, Founder of ACDN Productions, has worked as Associated head of Dance at Institute of the arts Barcelona until 2018 and for more than two decades already in prestigious environments, both in creation and in production and research. Eva S. Martz is currently researching in collaboration with London City University, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Ballet Nacional de España and Compañía Nacional de Danza de España.
¨I try to dig deeper into how a decision to move is made by the dancer from different tasks to be solved. I investigate neural mechanisms, cognition and the possibilities of developing methods for generating movement, choreography and for training dancers nowadays.¨Eva Sánchez Martz
Graduated and Postgraduated in the field of psychology and cognitive neuroscience, pianist and semiotic of movement researcher Eva Sánchez Martz with her company, Martz Dance Co., develops projects interested in cognition and movement studies, digging deeper into how a decision to move is made and neural mechanisms of human movement. Eva is currently dedicated to developing her own personal language on stage and training future dancers, choreographers and lecturers around the world.

Ex Miembro de Cirque du Soleil y fundadora de ACDN Productions, Eva ha trabajado durante la última década como Associated head of Dance en Institute of the arts Barcelona y como Associated Producer of World Dance Movement (Tezoro Productions NYC). Actualmente está dedicada a la creación a través de su compañía Martz Contemporary Dance Company, a la formación de futuros bailarines y a la investigación colaborando con la Universidad de Málaga, Universidad Complutense de Madrid y London City University.
Graduada y postgraduada en psicología y neurociencia cognitiva, experta en semiótica del movimiento, tras veinte años dedicados a la danza, Eva Sánchez Martz desarrolla el método Q-Motion. Su objetivo, optimizar las cualidades de los bailarines, para expandir y amplificar su rango de movimiento y explorar las posibilidades de cada cuerpo.
Eva S. Martz con su compañía, Martz Contemporary Dance Company, desarrolla proyectos sobre cognición y danza, profundiza en cómo la decisión hacia el movimiento es tomada y en cómo esta modifica las resultados obtenidos.
