This groundbreaking program is the result of a visionary collaboration between the European Institute of Movement Science and Martz Contemporary Dance Company—two forces at the forefront of innovation in science, movement, and the performing arts. Uniting rigorous research with creative excellence, this methodology merges cutting-edge neuroscience with contemporary dance to offer a transformative journey into the art and science of human movement. It’s a new way of learning, creating, and leading the future of embodied performance.

Supported by leading European Universities, the program features distinguished collaborators, including specialists from City, University of London, as well as from the Complutense University of Madrid and Institute of the arts Barcelona among others. This program enables participants to lay the groundwork for extending the application of their knowledge well beyond traditional boundaries. Throughout the course, individuals will develop the skills and perspectives necessary to innovate and excel in diverse contexts. Movement professionals—choreographers, movement directors, dancers, and actors—will gain tools to apply their expertise not only on stage but also in front of the camera, in film and advertisement. At the same time, the program opens new avenues toward therapeutic contexts, from cognitive therapy to injury recovery, as well as into the classroom, where innovative pedagogical strategies can reshape the way movement and learning are approached.
